To show our commitment to professional development opportunities Artswork have increased Artsplan training fees only once in the past 5 years. Due to rising costs, and to allow for continued development, from January 1st 2007 training fees will reflect a slight increase, although still competitively priced and extreme value for money, with no hidden costs (no VAT is payable on any Artsplan resources).
All courses include a full resource pack, often including free relevant Artsplan guidelines, and always including a free Youth Arts Learning Passport, and a Certificate of attendance. ENYAN Members will still benefit from an additional 5% off the standard price:
Open Course Fees
Supported Rate: Freelancers/Individuals/Youth Service – £110 (ENYAN Full Member price £99)
Reduced Rate: Voluntary Organisations/Charities – £130 (ENYAN Full Member price £117)
Full Rate: Public Sector/Commercial Companies – £150 (ENYAN Full Member price £135)
For Get Sorted 1 and Get Sorted 2 training course fees add £5 to the cost per person. This covers additional compulsory course materials (at half price only) from Artsplan Publications – the Get Sorted guidebook, and Access All Areas: disability and youth arts guidelines.
Six day accredited open courses
Supported Rate (Freelancers/individuals/youth service) – £320 Reduced Rate
Voluntary Organisations/Charities/Not for profit – £370 Full Rate
Public Sector/ Commercial Companies – £420
Accredited courses represent excellent value for money, with six full days included in the price bringing the average individual course cost down to between £53-70 per person (as above)!
Artswork is able to offer ONE half price bursary on each programmed six day accredited open course at ATC’s at a cost of £190. Bursary regulations follow the same as below.
Open Courses are run throughout the country in partnership with Artsplan Training Centres (ATC’s).

Bursaries
Artswork is pleased to be able to continue the bursary scheme for their Artsplan training programme. Please note bursaries are a flat rate, and not eligible for the additional 5% ENYAN Member discount.
A minimum of 4 half price (£55) bursary places (others subject to availability) are available on one day open courses on a first come first served basis for those who are:
- volunteers
- unemployed/low-waged
- registered disabled
Applications should be made using the bursary form, which can be obtained by contacting the Artsplan Development Manager. Bursary place holders will be required to complete and return a feedback form after the course to help us in monitoring and developing the department and bursary scheme.
For Get Sorted 1 and Get Sorted 2 training course fees add £5 to the cost per person. This covers additional compulsory course materials (at half price only) from Artsplan Publications – the Get Sorted guidebook, and Access All Areas: disability and youth arts guidelines.
Organisation Course Fees
Reduced Rate: Voluntary Organisations/Charities – £555 (ENYAN Member price £499.50)
Full Rate: Public Sector/Commercial Companies – £655 (ENYAN Member price £589.50)
These courses are bought in by an organisation and delivered in-house for up to 25 people. The price is inclusive of all costs including travel and resources (unless overnight accomodation is required), but organisations are responsible for providing a suitable venue, lunch and refreshments for participants and trainer.
Access all Areas / Creating Safety
Please note: due to additional costs involved in delivering “Access All Areas: disability and youth arts” and “Creating Safety: child protection and youth arts” these courses are priced at a higher inclusive rate of £800/£875 for up to 25 people, where access requirements must be met.

Tailored Training Fees
Reduced Rate: Voluntary Organisations/ Charities – £825 (ENYAN Member price £742.50)
Full Rate: Public Sector/ Commercial Companies – £895 (ENYAN Member price £805.50)
Tailored training prices are for one day courses created from scratch, specific to your organisation/partnership needs. The above prices are inclusive of all costs including travel and resources (unless overnight accomodation is required), but organisations are responsible for providing a suitable venue, lunch and refreshments for participants and trainer. Existing courses may be tailored slightly to meet specifc needs as required – in this instance contact the Artsplan Development Manager for a quote relating to your specific requirements.
Accredited Training Fees*
Organisations wishing to buy in either of the two six day accredited courses on offer, will be charged an all inclusive fee of £4,800 for up to 15 people. This includes additional tutor hours, accreditation, administration, travel and resources costs (unless overnight accomodation is required), but organisations are responsible for providing a suitable venue, lunch and refreshments for participants and trainer.
Additional Discounts
Any organisation or individual booking two or more one day courses (does not include six day accredited), or two or more places on any Artsplan one day courses OR six day accredited courses at the same time will benefit from a 10% discount on the total booking fee.
N.B. ENYAN Members booking under the above guidelines will benefit from a full discount price of 15% of their total fee.
