Angela Conlan, Artsplan Trainer
Angela is currently the Freelance Co-ordinator for Wiltshire Dancing a new initiative which aims to strengthen and develop the infrastructure for dance in Wiltshire. She is also a freelance Arts Award Advisor and Trainer.
Angela was previously Youth Arts Co-ordinator for the Wiltshire Youth Arts Partnership, which aims to ‘stimulate opportunities for young people 13-21 throughout Wiltshire to enjoy, take part in and gain skills from high quality arts activities that are relevant to their needs and interests’. WYAP is a unique organisation – an active working partnership between Kennet, Salisbury, West Wiltshire and North Wiltshire District Councils, Wiltshire County Council Youth Development Service and the Arts Council.
Prior to that Angela was based in Oxfordshire and her background is in youth arts and dance. Angela trains on the Artsplan courses ‘Working Together: using the arts with young people’, ‘Creatively Challenged: working in youth arts’, ‘Supporting & Managing your youth arts worker’ amongst others.
