Interested in art? Interested in technology? Want some inspiring ideas to use back in school? Then the Mozilla Festival Schools day is the event for you!
For the first time ever, Mozilla are extending their global festival “Mozfest” to incorporate the education community by offering a dedicated Mozilla Education event to primary schools this November.
If you have never heard of Mozilla, they are most commonly known for the Firefox web browser. Mozilla is a global community of technologists, thinkers and builders working together to keep the Internet alive and accessible, so all people worldwide can be informed contributors and creators of the Web.
Arts Award is pleased to be co-hosting this event and offering Arts Award Discover on the day to all participants. This will be a free event with lunch provided.
The event will take place on Friday 17th November at the Coin Street community builders venue in London SE1. 10:30am – 3pm.
The day will provide children and teachers with a unique experience to show how varied, creative and entrancing tech can be. Open to KS2, there will be 150 places available for pupils plus their teachers, and all participants will have the opportunity to take part in 4 different workshops on the day.
Booking will open in September. If you’d like to get in touch to express your school’s interest in attending, please email Julie Neville
