Virginia Haworth- Galt
Chief Executive
Virginia became Chief Executive in 2004 and has overseen the expansion and development of Artswork. She leads a highly professional staff team who are passionate about youth arts and she works closely with Artswork’s Chair of Trustees.
Prior to this she was the Assistant Director for 5 years and led on reshaping the organisation’s focus towards work with young people at risk. Virginia has worked in the arts since 1991 and has specialised in youth arts, specifically with young people at risk, for much of this time. She has worked in participatory arts organisations and in galleries. Her art form specialisms are film and creative writing.
