With a degree in Art Practice and the Community Fiona has delivered visual art projects with children and young people both in schools and youth clubs in London and Bedfordshire; including glass work, mask making and mosaic. She has also delivered projects in community centre’s, galleries and a prison.
As a qualified youth worker Fiona has been responsible for developing innovative creative projects for Bedfordshire youth service, central Bedfordshire Arts development and two extended schools clusters. She is currently writing and delivering a Social and Emotional aspects of Learning programme at La Sainte Union Secondary School and coordinating a Peer Mentoring scheme.
An experienced freelance trainer Fiona has trained for both voluntary and statutory organizations including Voluntary Action Lewisham, Southwark SRE team and Southwell House Youth Project on working in schools, creative learning, behaviour management, spirituality of young people and group work. She also travelled to Azerbaijan to train staff at the CARD vocational centre and is an associate trainer for Barnados.
