Campaigns
Through ENYAN, Artswork is committed to undertaking national campaigns to lobby, advocate for - and raise the profile - of the value and importance of the arts and culture with, for and by young people. Campaign topics will be decided via ongoing consultation with the youth arts sector through ENYAN.
‘…I am delighted to support this campaign and trust it will energise all those who are currently working in this vibrant field; attract new supporters and convince policy and decision makers to do all they can to ensure the future of the arts for and by young people.’
Sir Ken Robinson, Honorary President of Artswork and the English National Youth Arts Network commenting on the 2011 national campaign:

‘The ENYAN campaign 'Young Arts Leaders' plays an important role in raising awareness of the Youth Arts sector and in promoting the opportunities available to young people within the arts and cultural sector…….’
Hannah Davis, Senior Policy Advisor, Children and Young People’s Culture Team commenting on the 2007 national campaign
The voices and views of ENYAN members are very important and will ensure that Artswork is credible, up- to-date and informed in its work to liaise and influence central government, key agencies responsible for leading on creative, cultural, youth, community and education services, Local Authorities and the media, about the value of quality arts and cultural practice in the youth arts sector.
National campaigns will support ENYAN’s ultimate aim:
ENYAN is a networking and advocacy body, managed by Artswork (the youth arts development agency). It is for all those using the arts in their work with young people in informal educational settings, including work with young people at risk.
For network members, ENYAN creates connections, shares best practice, provides access to high quality resources and information to enhance the quality of youth arts provision and young people’s experiences of the arts across England and the UK. The collective voice of members enables the network to advocate and lobby for sustained investment in youth arts.
