Artswork is the national, independent youth arts development agency, committed to making a difference to the lives of young people at risk aged 12 – 25. We do this in two ways:

• Direct project work, providing creative opportunities for young people

• Delivering professional development resources for a wide range of professionals working with young people

For Artswork creative opportunities for young people, means participatory arts activities by and for young people, outside of schools and other formal education settings, and outside the demands of the national curriculum.

Artswork fundamentally sees its role as one of raising standards in youth arts work, and in increasing opportunities for young people, specifically those most at risk. Our unique approach is demonstrated through the range and strength of our partnerships and our pioneering work across the informal sector.

In addition to this we are an Arts Award Regional Training Agency.
